6 kg weight gain... me in black last birthday. me in white this birthday.

It was a very happy month of June. Especially when it was coming to the month end.

30^th June is my birthday. Cancerians ‘ birthdays! Good things all happen together. K came to Shanghai and brought me the gifts he promised last year (WOW I almost forgot and did not care actually). God he came to Shanghai on one fine day telling me only in the afternoon that he wants to invite me for dinner on the same day. It was sweet and sentimental moment when we were revisiting some of the past memeory in the club of Hyatt on the Bund. I will never forget those first times, in Hyatt, in XinTianDi, in Hangzhou, in Hainan, in Bali, etc…

Then came Mr. Ben. who came with beautiful birthday gifts from Switzerland (I am happy not because of the chocolate or necklace but I was elated by the fact that even without communication for more than one year, he still remembers my birthday and still treats me so sweetly.) We had brief but sweet time having dinner and lunch at Tian Zi Fang near my office, a relaxing place for expats. (Local will find it too primitive in decoration and the food too pricy.)

And I honestly told them that I am in a new relationship and I was very well respected by both gentlemen. I do understand that sometimes, love means respect and understanding. I do respect the ones I love as well.

And last but certainly not least, J. bought me a bicycle. Haha…I have not yet since purchased used it for one moment. It is meant to help me exercise my body and slim down a bit. :P Bicycle for White Fat Tall meymey.

I have to admit to this fact that I have gained 6 kg since last year. It is quite crazy and scary. The flesh undesirably went to some body parts. It is quite sad fact. I was working quite busy and hard and could not help eating more as I was deprived of sleep. But this vicious cycle has to be changed /stopped by sleeping earlier and eating less esp. at night time. I hope I can catch the prime time of summer for this resolution.

I think those not so pleasant comments/advices from J. are actually very objective and constructive to a better future of mine. Only those who really care for me would feed me the ‘bitter medicine’ so my imperfection would be less and less.

I am very thankful for God’s arrangement that when I am in a plight there is always a savior there for me, who helps me out of sadness and lifts me up to a higher level.

I hope this good beginning envisions a good ending. And no matter what happens finally I will be happy for myself if I see myself progress for the better every day.  

Bought myself two beautiful hair pins with crystals ... for 26th BD.

Present list: Canon camera, Lacoste sneaker, BS bicycle, stamp books, doggie toys, and a lot of love and 'happy birthday' exclaimation over the phone! I am to be one year maturer, one year wiser, and one year morebeautiful!! :P
